Marc Jacobs
Meet Daisy. This Marc Jacobs scent has really gotten me in the mood for spring. (spring please come soon!) It is described as “blooming with modern-vintage edge of velvety violet petals and a luminous blend of gardenia and jasmine with lingering notes of birch and cederwood.”  The limited edition bright red bottle really stands out from the rest of my perfume collection. It never...

My Holy Grail Foundation.
Foundation is key to good makeup and a flawless face. So many times I see girls who spend so much time on other aspects of their makeup and fail to devote some time to their foundation routine. Think of the skin as a canvass. It should be well taken care of if you want to appreciate the art that is on top of it. Having good skin is key, but picking the right foundation is just as important.  It...

Mac Haul
In my recent trip to the Cosmetic Company Outlet store, I picked up three exciting Mac products:  Mac #189 Face Brush has synthetic bristles and can be used for liquids, emollients, and pressed powders. I love multi-tasking brushes, and this one seems to do it all. The big paddle allows quick application to large areas, and the rounded edges smooth and blend products nicely. This is a very well...

5 Day Weekend!
Yes, you read correctly: today marks the beginning of my 5 day weekend! Today I’m spending the entire day catching up on my reality tv shows (i.e. The Bachelor) and eating junk food.  In the episode I’m currently watching, The Bachelor takes his ladies to my beautiful country.  I’ll leave you with photos from paradise: Costa Rica. Happy Weekend Everyone!

Valentine's Weekend.
This past weekend was one of the best I’ve ever had. I didn’t have classes on Friday, and although I had a test scheduled for Monday, luckily it was one of those tests you don’t have to study for. So, for the first time in a REALLY LONG TIME, my weekend was free of lectures and assignments.  Friday consisted of non-stop shopping at the beautiful Victoria Gardens followed by the...

Boudoir Photo-shoot!
My husband’s birthday and Valentine’s Day are really close together. This year, instead of the usual vday card, socks, or tie, I decided to give my beloved a gift he would really treasure.  One of Jon’s co-workers is a photographer, and I really like her work. When she asked me if I would pose for her boudoir photo-shoot I was ecstatic! HECK YES! I had so much fun with her, and...

Earring Storage
I got my ears pierced when I was in college (late bloomer, I know). Soon after that I went earring shopping crazy. My little jewelry box became full too quickly, and all the earrings began to get tangled with one another. I bought this Eiffel Tower Earring Holder at The Icing to help solve the problem. It’s a cute way to store my dangly/hoop earrings: You can find similar holders online: ...

All Time Favorites: Essie
As much as I love my OPI nail polish collection, I almost always reach for my Essie bottles. The formulation is thinner, the color selection is nicer, and the varnish usually lasts longer and chips less.  Which is your favorite Essie nail polish shade?

Nails in a Hurry
This is Nonfat Soy Half Caff by Sephora by OPI (what a long name): This past Friday I completely forgot I had a job interview. My nails were a wreck (food poisoning ruined my entire week) and I was not about to go into a job interview with half chipped nails. I threw this nail polish into my hand bag and quickly painted them while I was waiting. The formula was so smooth, the color super...

Urban Decay Liquid Liners.
How fun are these?! These liquid liners are so bright and pigmented, and their staying power is insane! If you’re looking for bright colored liners for Spring, Urban Decay has an amazing set. This week I picked up Minx (bright teal), Gash (deep red), and Acid Rain (metallic lime).  You can find these here, or here for $18 each.
