Goodbye Facial February
This past Friday I enjoyed my last facial of the month of February. I started off with The Balm’s White Tea Blueberry facial mask:
Exfoliated my skin with their White Tea Almond Microdermabrasion Cleanser:
And finished the process with a thick layer of Hazelnut Vitamin E Face Cream:
I’m so glad that I was able to be consistent with my facial skin care this month. I have...

Facial February: Aqua Marina Cleanser Roll
I know what you’re thinking. Ewww, that looks gross. Don’t worry, I thought the exact same thing. But you know what? This seaweed cleanser roll has got to be one of my most favorite facial cleansers of all time. It’s my secret weapon to combat dry flaky skin.
Aqua Marina is made of aloe and calamine both of which are very calming for the skin. The mixture is then wrapped in...

Last Friday of Facial February
yoursteffles:
This past month I have been treating myself to this mask once a week and I have noticed a subtle but nice change in my skin. It’s a lot smoother and I haven’t broken out at all! definitely a plus ;) I’ll try to keep to this routine every week.
Yay! I’m so glad you were able to join me this month. I’m even more glad to hear you will keep up the routine. I’m...

Illamasqua: Theatre of the Nameless
Have you ever come across a beauty brand that has never disappointed you? Illamasqua, a brand originally from the UK, has quickly become one of my favorites. When I first swatched Illamasqua’s cream blushes, it was love. Love at first swatch. I was so impressed with the quality of Illamasqua, that I went back to check out the rest of their makeup.
Recently I picked up two blushes from...

Valentine's Day Makeup
Unlike last year, I decided to do more of a bold makeup look for Valentine’s Day. Instead of using pink as my main eyeshadow color, I incorporated a salmon/coral on the lid and saved the pink for my lips.
Here’s what I used:
Inglot Face Primer
Makeup Forever HD Foundation
Benefit’s Erase Paste Concealer
Mac’s Coral Crepe Paint Pot
Wet n Wild’s Penny...

Facial February: Brazilian Peel
This weekend I treated myself to a first treatment of the Brazilian Peel. This peel contains 30% glycolic acid, Q-Mag Neutralizer, and a natural antioxidant known as acai. I did a little research and discovered that this peel has one of the highest glycolic acid concentrations sold to the general public. Glycolic acid is known to improve the skin’s appearance and texture by helping...

February Manicure
Wet N Wild’s Candy-licious ($1.99) topped with NYC’s Starry Silver Glitter ($0.99).
Let me start off by saying how amazingly beautiful that pink/blue/silver glitter polish is. For a total of $3, I think this is the best Valentine’s Manicure out there. And the best part? Wet n Wild polishes are buy 2 get 1 free the whole month of February at Walgreens! How can you say no to...

Trash The Dress Photoshoot
Here are the remainder of the photos I took with my sister-in-law during my trip to Florida for Christmas break:
Sister-in-law and I were roommates in college, and we both got married in the same summer. She tied the knot in Louisiana, and I in Texas. Our dresses were from the same designer, and my dad married us both. This past December was the first time we had seen each other...

January Favorites
I have decided to start making a post at the end of every month highlighting some of my most used/loved beauty products of that month. Only products that have really stood out to me will make it to each post.
Naked Palette ($50): I have rediscovered my love for the Naked Palette. I had decided to put it away to give room for other new palettes that needed some attention, but with all of the...
