Q:In your opinion, what are the three greatest things life has to offer?

Happiness, freedom, and love. 

Have you ever heard a joke that was so funny you laughed so hard you almost peed your pants? Or did you ever experience something humorous that no matter how hard you tried you couldn’t contain the laughter? What about experiencing a joyous moment such as passing a hard exam, being reunited with your loved ones, or realizing you’ve lived another year on this Earth? In that moment, nothing else in this life matter, and joy takes over. Pure joy. That’s the happiness I’m talking about. 

We are given the opportunity to be free. And by free, I mean we can choose to be whatever/whoever we want to be. We are given the capacity to make decisions for ourselves. We control our own minds. We have the liberty to choose our own future. We make that choice, and nobody else.

And then there’s love. It’s the most important of the three. What is life without love? It’s what we all search for. What we all crave. What we all need. Some find it in a partner, others in a career, and some in religion.  It’s that love that keeps us going. It’s the hope of love that allows us to live in such a cruel word. It’s the love of a mother to her child, a husband to his wife, a brother to a sister, and God to His children. That’s the purest form of love.
