Remember this gorgeous bride? I had the pleasure to do Stephanie’s makeup on her wedding day last summer. Recently a very talented photographer and I teamed up to do a bridal glamour session, and Stephanie (who is also in pharmacy school with me) quickly joined in. For her makeup, I created a sexy smokey eye complete with false lashes. I kept her skin radiant, added some contouring on the cheekbones, and defined her brows using brow powder. I finished off with a sheer lipstick and sprayed her down with Urban Decay’s De Slick. 

Want to hear the crazy part? The photographer, the bride, the hair dresser, and I attended the same christian university in Tennessee!

My sister got married several months ago, and I completely forgot to post the pictures.  I had the pleasure of doing my sister’s bridal makeup as well as the bridesmaids. I will say that it can get really stressful when you’re the sister of the bride, the maid of honor, the makeup artist, and the master of ceremonies. These images were taken by my brother, who was also in the wedding party. Talk about multi-tasking!


Bridal Makeup: Stephanie + Chase

I had the honor to do Stephanie’s wedding makeup this past summer. The wedding was held at Lake Arrowhead, California, and the view from the mountain was breathtaking. Stephanie, a pharmacy school classmate, married one of my husband’s best friends. Their wedding was one of the most exquisite weddings I have ever been to.

For Steph’s makeup I used: Makeup Forever HD Primer in Green, Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation, Nars Blush in Douceur, Dior Highlighter in Amber Diamond, Naked 2 Eyeshadow Palette by Urban Decay, Anastasia Brow Kit, MAC’s Fluidline in Blacktrack, Makeup Forever Lipstick in #31 mixed with Bobbi Brown’s Pot Rouge in Raspberry, and Ardelle’s Demi Wispies False Lashes.
